Wood - Quarter sawn oak is a log-cutting method where the log is quartered and sliced perpendicular to the growth rings. This creates a straight-grain pattern with a unique, decorative "ray fleck" or "flake" look, high dimensional stability, and less warping than standard flat-sawn wood.
